I Know we have owned a TT and my husband has had 2 heart attacks and the TT was so much harder to set up and the awful white knuckle driving was the pits with the TT. You do not have with the 5er Pulls like a dream~~My Husband can set up our 37 foot 5er with no help from me in about 15 minutes very easy~~~All of the pros of our 5th wheel definitly out weigh all of Cons of a travel trailer ~`Actually no Comparison our 5er is Like a beautiful Condo On wheels~~~We would never own another TT Ever~~~Sandy

Hi yes you have a 40 amp fuse for the landing gear we always carried spare ones because they blew often~ He will find the place for the fuse in a small box by the moter of the landing gear`Sandy

Good Luck with that. I just got my recall completed at Camping World here in San Marcos CA. and it was a huge hassle. They tried to charge me for it, then told me it wasn't covered, then charged me a diagnostic fee. They told me Dometic wouldn't cover it even though the entire unit was still under the full factory warranty!
Hopefully you won't have that problem with your dealership but watch out for the scam dealerships that try to collect twice by charging you for warranty work then charging the manufacturer also.
What? They can not Charge at all for a recall if they do you are to call Dometic they Have a form that you can fill out this is to be fixed 100% free of charge it says so on their site too!~Shame on Camping World~~Sandy

Our New 2007 Everest Fridge On recall list~~~
Hi I was Totally Suprised that the new updated Dometic recall List is out and sure Enough our Fridge is one of the models~
So if any of you have a new Rv
you should be checking that new Updated List too!~~Because they have put this Fridge even in the New Models~~~ I sure would not want anyone here to Lose there 5er to a horrible fire by thinking they are safe because they have a new or newer 5er~~~Sandy

Hi I Know from our experience only is that there really wasn't any Msrp's Just what the dealer made up ~We found our model of Everest which is the 345s priced from various dealers from 56,000 to 72,000 for the exact same features anyways we ended up paying about 37.000 this was a left over model brand new Coach with Warranty, We purchased from a dealer from the Internet~~So make your best deal and be happy~~Sandy

Hi we had bought a new 2007 Cougar bunkhouse for our Daughter she is 10 it had her own Jack Knife sofa and top bunk and entertainemnt center Big closet and she would sleep on the living room sofa what a waste that was we used the new 5er maybe 5 times YIKESS!!~~`So we traded it in our A new late Model 2007 4 slide Everest~~She loves sleeping on the Living room Hidebed!~~Think twice on the bunkhouse you Either Live with a big Mistake or you Take a loss on a trade in~~~
We Opted for the Big all in One Big Bathroom Model it helps when you have kids~you can dress in there ! Also when you have the Bunkhouse you Sacrifice Living space you have either the small sofa or the Dinnette for relaxing it was not enjoyable for us at all~We now have a huge living room even when the hide a bed is out it is not in our way at all~We can walk around & sit in the recliners that was very Important to us so we can all lounge in the Living room area even if the Hide a bed was open~~ We also like the rear Full Enertainment center with the fireplace~~Sandy

The air bag on the 5th AB is tucked kind of inside the two parts of the pinbox where the MR air bag is in the front of the pinbox.
Hi the MorRyde does not have a AirBag!!~You Must be Talking about maybe the Trail Air Pin box~~~Sandy

I have the 5th AB and love it. A friend has the MR and loves it. They both work good I think. Although maybe a little harder to air the 5th AB becaues the bag is inside the box it is out of the sun and weather where the MR is more exposed to the elements. Can't remember the prices but I think you will be happy with either one
How can the MorRyde be more exposed it is under the Cap of the 5er and never really sees much in the way of sunlight or rain ~~It Can not get exposed much to the weather? Are we not talking the Same thing here? Our's is the MorRyde Pin box Hitch?? Plus I do not think the MorRyde has a bag at all? You can also go and look at the Video on how the MorRyde works~~Sandy
